The UQ Museum of IT is for the preservation of historic computing equipment and related documentation. Our main interest relates to usage at The University of Queensland, plus matters significant to other universities or the industry in general. As UQ was a major user of Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) computers for a long time, items from DEC play a large role in our collection. Most of the documents contained here were used by the staff and students of UQ. As well as documents, we also have photographs and videos to help show how computing at UQ has changed over the years.
